When choosing the colors, ask yourself when your wedding will take place, where your wedding will be held and what your style is. Decide if you like bold colors, patterns, light or dark shades, etc. Do you like more modern styles, or do you prefer a more traditional feel? Pinterest is a great way to collect and compare pictures of different color schemes from weddings you found online. Incorporate your favorite flower into the color scheme, and use it as either an accent color or a dominant shade. For beach weddings, seek out light and fresh colors that suggest the brilliance of the outdoors. Make sure your colors tie in nicely throughout the whole wedding. Use them in the bridesmaid’s dresses, the groomsmen’s boutonnieres, the table linens and the cake. Don’t overwhelm your guests, but make it clear what your wedding colors are.
