Video Testimonials

We were renting a house in February Point and we brought our family over and it was our wedding anniversary and it blossomed from there. Kwanza was lovely to deal with. We spoke over the phone and she walked me through the entire process. Very professional and friendly.

Well, the location was superb. Kwanza organized everything for us from the officiant to the ride to and from the island to everything in between. She even supplied us with props and a home made flower bouquet for me as well as our very own “flower girl” the setting for our dinner after the ceremony was just perfect and the meal superb. I wouldn’t change a thing.

My favorite memory was when my husband surprised me with a ring that I was not expecting. One of Kwanza employees was taking pictures of the entire ceremony so the exact moment was captured on film. We look at those pictures often and re-live the day. It was such fun to celebrate 30 years with our immediate family and we now have wonderful memories and pictures to treasure until we can return. It was very personal and intimate thanks to Kwanza and her family.

Just trust Kwanza to gather all the information from your conversations and know it will be a stress free time for everyone. Just sit back relax and enjoy…

We were having problems pleasing both of our families. Planning a destination wedding in Exuma took all of that away. The wedding was all about what we wanted as a couple.

You helped take care of all details. All I had to do was tell you what I wanted and you took care of it!

My advice to other brides is really think about what you want. If you’re looking for a laid back day that is all about you, this is the way to go! You don’t need to worry about the small stuff. There is already natural beauty all around so you don’t need a thing to make a beautiful wedding.

We loved our wedding! We wouldn’t have done it any other way!

“It is pretty difficult to plan a wedding that is going to be larger than just a few people in Exuma without someone there to help with things like the cake, flowers, and the officiant.

As much as I liked to think that I could do everything myself, I really could not. We feel lucky that Kwanzaa was there to help us. She made sure that everything ran smoothly, including finding an amazing DJ at the last minute. I’ve been to other weddings that seemed so glitchy (scratchy sound systems, miscued music, awkward timing at the reception, guests wondering when dinner would start, etc.) even with a planner and our wedding was nothing like that. Everything was smooth and flawless and we thank Kwanzaa for that!

Save yourself the stress and have Kwanzaa help you! She will take care of everything. Her wedding checklist is very thorough and she will work with your budget. As someone who lives on the island, she can recommend places to go with your guests and activities that you can do. She greets you at the airport, does a walk-through of the ceremony and spends the whole day with you at the wedding in a nonintrusive way. She was definitely worth the money!”

“We chose both the the Exuma Islands for our destination wedding location and to work with Kwanza because of a friend’s recommendation. Everyone had a great time at Chat ‘N’ Chill. The event was well organized and ran smoothly and was the best part of our wedding. It was a memorable part of the weekend events. Kwanza organized everything from transportation to/from the hotel, boat to island, meal, drinks, activities, entertainment. It was one stop shopping!!! Overall, it was a unique unforgettable experience that was expertly organized and executed!”

“Sit back, relax, and just have FUN! I couldn’t be happier about how my wedding went and I couldn’t have done it without Kwanza’s help. She took care of everything for me so I didn’t have to worry about a thing. I am also grateful for all the ideas of things to do for the time that we were there. I couldn’t have asked for anything more, everyone was so great.”

“3 years later and they are still talking about Steve’s and my wedding in Exuma at Chat ‘N’ Chill™ on July 17 th , 2004. Everyone in attendance (40 friends and family) couldn’t believe I could arrange such a perfect wedding in Exuma from Houston. The answer is Kwanza! She arranged everything from pre-wedding transportation, lodging, wedding licenses, and our rehearsal dinner. The dinner, flowers, cake, band, plants, and buffet were all in place when I arrived for my wedding. Everything was perfect. If you want a NO STRESS barefoot wedding, this is the only place to be!”

“I would like to say that our wedding experience in Exuma was magical!! Everything was perfect!! Kwanza and her staff made sure that all details were taken care of. It was great to be in the US and have everything done without worrying. We had a gorgeous palm archway right on the beach…with rose petals and conch shells. We absolutely loved the table centerpieces…made from Exuma conch shells and tropical flowers..what an elegant touch! All of our guests said it was the most beautiful and perfect wedding that they had attended…and we have to agree 100 %. Our wedding was amazing and it was exactly what we wanted! Our thanks go out to Kwanza and her staff.”

“Dear Kwanza,

Stephen and I really appreciate what you did for Kristen and Chris’ wedding. It was very beautiful and intimate and everything just went very well. The flowers, the catering, the people are all very nice to us and made us feel so at home. The cake was very delicious too. We had a very wonderful time at Guana Cay. Hope that we will see each other again and when we go back there we will visit Chat ‘N’ Chill. It was the best vacation we ever had! Take care.”

“Hi Kwanza,

I just wanted to thank you again for your wonderful help with the wedding. We are all pleased with how everything turned out. My, it’s a lot of work to produce a wedding on a cay so far from everything, isn’t it? We were exhausted by all the work it took, but it was all worth it. I know the guests had a marvelous time.

Let us know if we can be any help with references, etc. Once again, thanks for all your hard work and we hope to see you around George Town and and Chat and Chill for a long time to come.”

Sincerely,

“Dear Kwanza,

Happy New Year. I just wanted to send you a little message thanking you for all your help and wedding consultation services, particularly your patience and understanding while I was busy finishing my Masters thesis. I really needed a lot of help, and your support made our wedding perfect! We love our t-shirts, and I especially love the coconut goblets. My family and all of our guests had a terrific time. Everyone loved the simplicity of the decorations, the food and the cake (Holly ate 3 pieces on the wedding day)! Thank you again, Kwanza, for making our wedding so special and memorable. I am sure we will see you in Exuma the next time we are there. Say hello to KB & Delano for me.”

“We chose Exuma because its nature in its purest form. The waters are endlessly clear and beautiful and the sands are like no other. We chose Chat ‘N’ Chill because of the unique setting. Kwanza and all of her staff with their beautiful smiles put all the casual elegance to an adventurous yet serene setting. I am amazed by Kwanza’s ability to remember all the people and clients who come to visit. Every time I come into contact with Kwanza I feel as though Georgetown’s most beautiful secret is floating my way to once again greet me and welcome me home. It was “Beyond The Dream Wedding You Thought You Were Going To Have.” I wouldn’t recommend you change a thing! Thank you Kwanza for being you.:)”

“I had a ton of questions and until I started talking to Kwanza, I was stressed. Once I started my bi-weekly phone calls, my stress was gone. I knew I would need help since our wedding was a destination wedding, someone that would help me or ease the stress. I was freaking out a little in the beginning because there seemed to be so much to do upfront but after my first conversation with Kwanza on the phone, I felt relieved. I’m sure most of us in the US expect the same customer service we receive here but some of the vendors on the island take a little too long getting back to you and I found that irritating and unprofessional. Kwanza was very helpful and responsive. She knows the island and the vendors so I looked forward to her recommendations and experience since she lives there.

Whatever I may have forgotten, Kwanza remembered. Every detail of our wedding was beautiful and I have no regrets about any decisions about the ceremony and/or reception. Plus, the vendors Kwanza recommended were perfect for us.The Steel drum band that played the music, Reverend Rolle, the personal chef and his assistant, Sabrina, the photographer and of course you, Kwanza, made our day beautiful, memorable and happy—it was perfect! I would recommend all of the same vendors to any bride getting married in Exuma. Plus convince them to book an all day island cruise with Pat—that was so much fun!

There’s nothing I would change about our wedding day. I would say that the experience was definitely professional, but Kwanza also made me feel like a friend and not just a client. Just do it! Exuma is the most beautiful setting for a wedding and Kwanza knows how to make your day special.”

Thanks again,”

“It was always our dream to get married on a beautiful beach looking out to sea and basking in sunshine. So what better place to fulfill our dreams than on the stunning Stocking Island just off Great Exuma in The Bahamas! We found this little slice of paradise on the internet and we were soon looking forward to the unspoiled location to tie the knot.

We came across ‘A Wedding Breeze’ Destination Wedding Specialists and our Coordinator, Kwanza, swiftly took us under her wing and helped us plan our ideal day.

As we are UK based, she helped us organise all the necessary legal paper work, the Baptist Minister we wanted, and also helped us scout the island for the picture perfect ceremony location.

After looking all over the island, we decided on the beautiful beach on Stocking Island next to the Chat ‘N’ Chill Bar. Kwanza arranged for us to be married under a beautiful palm hut and we then celebrated with a bottle of champagne on the beach. It was a perfect day and we couldn’t have done it without Kwanza’s help.”
